Contacts on iPhone
« on: April 10, 2011, 07:57:56 pm »

I've copied accross 2 sim cards worth of contacts to the iphone. One of which was a back up done by my provider onto a new sim and every number that I've ever had on that 10 year old sim (even though I deleted half of them) is now on my iphone.

Is there any way to access it on a computer and delete them? iTunes? Mobile Me? I can't be arsed doing them individually.

Ta.

There's an option to manage contacts with Outlook, you can delete them in there then when you resync it'll remove them from your phone (I think, I've not touched a Windows PC in a while)

It'll sync them to Address Book and you can manage them from there

Rather than make a new topic, I'll ask in this one...

I used to have a HTC phone, and HTC sense let you use all your facebook friends numbers in your contacts list. I quite liked this, is there anything I can do on the iPhone to make the same thing happen?

I think sync on facebook just looks at your contact list  and matches info for any names that are also on your friendlist, eg updated photos etc or updates old numbers, that sort of thing, myphone+ farms them all out
