 After Stockton Calling's storming debut in 2010, ARC, Ku Bar and The Georgian Theatre are pulling out all the stops, announcing the first headline act buoyant Dundee rockers The View for the hit festival’s second stint.

Stockton Calling will be taking over more of the town with a brand new stage at The Sun Inn, which has been put together by Middlesbrough based promoters The Kids Are Solid Gold and will be headlined by Washington Irving, as well as an array of local and Newcastle based bands.

Other bands in the line include The Chapman Family, Dirty Weekend, Russian group Motorama, Cattle and Cane and Jimmy & The Sounds.

With loads more bands be announced for the day's festivities, keep checking ARC's website for more updates.

• Tickets can be purchased online at www.arconline.co.uk and from ARC Box Office on 01642 525199; Green Dragon Studios on 01642 606525 or in person from Ku.


• On the day you will need to exchange your ticket for a wrist band from the Ticket Exchange Point (in Green Dragon Yard)

• Tickets MUST be exchanged for a wristband by 7pm otherwise entry will be denied at the venues.

• You will only gain entry to each venue with a valid, intact wrist band.

• To purchase alcohol from the venues you will need a 18+ wristband. Proof of ID must be provided at the Ticket Exchange Point.

*IT IS AN OFFENCE TO DRINK ALCOHOL IN ALL PUBLIC PLACES IN THE TOWN CENTRE.

• Admission to each venue is on a first come first served basis. Once capacity is reached the door will operate on a one in one out policy.

• Each venue reserves the right to refuse entry.


 
 Running Time:  Age: Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.

Wasn't aware this was officially announced yet. Hope we're playing in Ku this year.

It's good! I think it had a few teething troubles last year but if everyone persists with it (and gets bands as big as The View in) then it'll eventually be a winner. Urban festivals are the way forward I think.

They played a sell out show at King Tut's last month and there's real momentum for them north of the border. They are an awesome live act and in the Sun Inn it'll be mental.

Ah is the Sun a venue?!!!! PERFECT sir. I love the Sun, totally underused as a gig venue these days.

The Veiw are in the Arc but TKASG are having a stage in the Sun
