Another night of noise? Oh yeah.

THE GARES
Is it really 3 months since the Fringe? Did you really think we'd be sat on our arses and twiddling our thumbs? Fuck that, we've been enjoying the benefits of a creative spurt and finishing tunes that had been sitting unfinished for 2 years, getting all-new ones done and dusted in record time and recording our dirty wares for posterity. Which means it's time to lash some more gigs on.

You know the score - ear splitting guitars, pounding drums, earth moving bass and some lad stomping, howling and shrieking into a mic.

DIY demo up at the minute, keep an eye out for new recordings in the next few weeks - www.myspace.com/thegares

ANCHOR FAST ANCHOR
The loudest band in Britain? They can't be far off it. A full on assault on your ears with shades of Can, The Birthday Present and carpet bombing. Check 'em out, Rob Nichols put it better than we can - 'Furious like an inferno yet with a glowing melody and lyrical heart in the heat of the flames'. We think they're mint.

MILKBONES
Glorious downtempo grunge from British Lichen Society/Peg Powler stalwart Matthew Neil. Think Loud/Quiet/Loud/Quiet/Loud.

Matthew's too cool for myspace so you'll have to trust us when we say that we really fucking like the tunes.

HUMAN TRAFFIC
New new new band formed from the ashes of Red Rabbits. Unfortunately half the band's out on Army manoeuvres so Harley will be strapping on her acoustic and blaring out some of the new tunes.

No myspace but have a visit to their facebook page - http://www.facebook.com/pages/Human-Traffic/102371829823351

Finished recording the album last week, ten songs of pure dirt. Should be smart once it's been mixed etc. Really excited about it.

This is our first Boro gig in about 6 months I think so looking forward to this one, having a drummer who can drum has worked wonders.

Maybe so but it did us major harm!

Here's to not throwing instruments at the end of a set ever again!*

Might hopefully have a track or 2 up before the gig, big dirty and beefy

*unless it's for fun

turn that frown upside down sunshine,

I found a happy medium between flinging it and kicking it on Friday at Ku, nice to see our bass player finally get in on the act and smack the fucking thing off the floor 8)
