what is it, make model?

whats it doing wrong/not doing

if it's tube it could be the valves in there, hard to say without knowing more.

There's probably knowhere local that can fix this if it's actually high end stuff

Thanks for the reply rich should of mentioned its high end to me, not necessarily to anyone else ha,
its an SPL KULTUBE, most likely is the valves, because when you turn it on theres an active light which flashes to signify the valves are warming up, which is supposed to stop flashing when they are warm and ready for use, but it just carries on flashing which means the valves are never ready, and the unit is effectively in bypass mode continuously.

a couple of people have gave me a number for a local guy who fixes most things, whos going to have a look at it so hopefully he can sort it.
but im open to sugestions if you have any?.
cheers

cheers robbie il have a look at those, the guy round this way cant help, just found out that spl dont release there circuitry diagrams to anyone other than their own certified engineers because the products are protected, and they only have one in the U.K, sent it back and they will look at it and fix it at 60 per hour  :o, glad im not paying ha.
