lightning seeds and Ivan Brackenbury are both good, saw them at the hartlepool festival. broudies voice has gone a bit like but the perfect kind of band for fringe i think. and ivan brackenbury was really funny

Mercury Rev!!!! I saw them with Flaming Lips supporting years ago around the time of Deserters Songs, superb stuff!!!

Haven't seen them since All Is Dream era though, this is my favourite tune, I love this stuff http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A102xE-Wnfk

Lightning Seeds could be the perfect band if we have a good World Cup.

Mercury Rev. Fclass. Saw them in '06 perform Deserters Song & early shit, was brilliant.

just a forewarning if its anything like the hartlepool gig they did, for some reason broud busts out an accoustic guitar which id not normally mind but they did it for their most energetic anthem type songs like life of riley and three lions and it was a bit of a shame! still a good watch though although i think lippy disagreed haha. one of the first bands i went to see live.

the line up is amazing. kelly + tma have done a mint job!

I've never seen the rev live, can't wait!!! I love that fringe festival constantly delivers at least one headliner thats a bit off kilter, massive, but off the radar a little...like when super furries played, or the aliens, or like echo and the bunnymen.

Human League will be mega as well, missed them last year at evolution but everyone i know who went said they were really good. loads of folk who didn't even like human league were on it too.

Im also looking forward to sitting about watching loads of local bands as well, best thing about the fringe without a doubt is seeing other local bands play/playing on a stage that in any other scenario we'd be getting thrown off by security for being near!
Summers going to be mint!
