YOUNG REBEL SET

Young Rebel Set are flying the flag for Teesside bands in the national media. A recent double page spread in some magazine called NME followed up a Single Of The Week accolade on BBC 6 music. Nicely done, chaps. Influenced by Johnny Cash, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, The Clash and The Pogues, Young Rebel Set feature ex-members of Billy The Kid, The Lurios and The Romance, but itís with Young Rebel Set that these talented Teessiders are finally making their mark. 2010 will be their year, mark our words.

DIRTY WEEKEND

Stockton lads Dirty Weekend are a thoroughly intriguing bunch. With influences as diverse as Gentle Giant, Oasis and King Crimson, their sound is remarkably difficult to categoriseÖ but you know, thatís no bad thing is it? They played at Glastonbury last year and then this summer, they kept themselves warm with support slots alongside The Futureheads, Supergrass and The Sunshine Underground. Scorchio.
