Only two weeks to go! Tickets are starting to sell fast - if you're coming to the festival and haven't yet got your tickets, then it's best to get them soon. Entry is not guaranteed without a ticket!

We are looking for stall holders for the festival. If anyone is interested in bringing a stall please let us know. Our contact details are on our website: www.pigpen.co.uk

The gates to the festival site open at 11.00am, although the early-birds can meet in Elwick Village from 9.00am where they can get breakfasts, bacon butties, tea & coffee from The McOrville, The Spotted Cow or the Village Shop. All will be open from 9.00am until the festival gates open.

Hello all,

Just wanted to say a very big thank you to all who attended on Saturday. Hope you all had a good time despite the mud - it seemed people certainly had fun rolling around in the mud, having mud fights and i even saw some mud surfing on sledges! Even the campers seemed happy with bonfires and hay to set up on. After weeks of continuous torrential rain I still can't quiet believe it was warm and didn't rain once! Fab! Thanks to all the bands who were brill and to all who supported the bar. People enjoyed the dj in the bar late on with lots of dancing on tables. A big thanks also to everybody who volunteered and helped out with the festival - we couldn't do it without you! And the fact everyone worked so hard in the rain leading up to the festival is just brill - thanks you!
There will be photos and a video added to the website shortly and if you are on facebook there is a group "Pig Pen Music Festival" where people are adding photos. In addition if you have any pics please add them as we would love to have a look!
Hope to see you all in 2009!
