« on: October 17, 2007, 02:41:03 pm »

Theres now stairs in my room as we've had our loft converted so would be nice to have a sofa-bed so theres actually somewhere to sit.

Nabbed the picture off ebay, any stores round boro sell these? And for how much?  Theres now stairs in my room as we've had our loft converted so would be nice to have a sofa-bed so theres actually somewhere to sit.

Thanks!

The ikea sofabeds are ludicrously affordable.

The ikea sofabeds are ludicrously affordable.

sleep in one and all comes clear

still, not bad for some seat/emergency bed space action.

From personal experience, Futons get REALLY uncomfortable after about 6 months.

Yeah the ex had one of the exact ones in that picture...

Not nice to sleep on. Alright for an odd night as a spare room though, and okay as a sofa.

Sofa Beds & Futons arent meant for full time sleep anyway Jase, most warn that they will lose their shape and become damaged if used regularly. theyre just meant to provide some spare sleeping/sitting space really!

I wish I could have said otherwise at the time since my rents were buying and they were solidly adamant that a Futon bed is the way forward!  :'(

I've been sleeping on a futon for the last 3 months and it's alright, not that uncomfortable then again, i suppose it all depends on the brand etc.
