Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
« on: October 06, 2007, 03:02:06 pm »

Middlesbrough Chips has this on import, it seems a bit easier than most zelda games, but so far its pretty awesome fun, as well as possibly the best graphics on DS have seen so far.

sod flashing, just get this:

http://www.consoleplus.co.uk/product_info.php?pName=r4-slot-1-adapter-for-dsds-lite-1gb-micro-sd

on that you can get about 20 games, should be more than enough for most :)

i have a flashed DS (from yourself kalus!) and a non-flashed DS. i was thinking of getting an R4 but gave it to my sister since my older one does me well. she thinks it's awesome like.

thing is i only play good games for a few hours before i'll relent and just buy them, i hate clearing a game then buying it legal and having a non-completed cartridge mock me. it HAS to be completed and i don't get anything else done till everything's neat again.

Can you recommend anywhere to get one from? I'm interested in picking one up  because there's a ton of games i'm after but just can't afford them.

Also, are they easy to use?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000PZVIEC/kelkoompcpc-21/ref=nosim

if you look at the perfect partner bit halfway down you can get the M3 (same thing as R4) with 1gb microSD for 32, not bad! probably cheaper ones around, but still a bargain :)

yeah they seriously easy to use, download the rom and copy it to the microSD card, just plays straight off them.

So with one of these, I can download new DS games from torrents and play them?

played couple of hours, the sailing parts are lot better than WW, and graphics kick ass. Gameplay wise, the stylus controls work really well, and the view is good. Remember, the originals were all top-down ;)

it's not top down, it's isometric or whatever. The touch screen works well. I've heard that it doesn't get very hard to the end, so it might be a shame if it's too easy.
