To team up with Raikkonen? Not sure how keen he would be about that like. I haven't seen this story but i presumed Hamilton was the golden boy in the Mclaren camp and that Alonso would be the one that wanted to get out (or get pushed out). Saying that though, Ferrari do have a fine tradition of snapping up who they presume is the best driver on the circuit and at the moment thats Hamilton. If they offer enough money...

In other F1 news, Nigel Mansell has said that Jensen Button is crap :

I doubt Hamilton would take the offer to be honest, Ferrari do things a hell of a lot differently to McLaren

And Ham has always said that it's not about the money for him.

Aye, Ferrari don't care about that though. Throw enough money at something until it works seems to be their motto

Christ, that's a shame about today. Makes the next race very interesting.

Asked, but I don't think anything will really happen.

Best if it doesn't anyway, there's no honour in Hamilton taking the title off Raikkonen (who lets be honest is a worthy champion anyway), in these circumstances. Lewis admittedly said a similar thing himself, so I think best to leave it at that. Were it not for a couple of failures Raikkonen would have been long and far out in the lead of the Championship, and he was fantastic at Interlagos, so he deserves it hindsight I think. Even if all the money he does win from the world title goes straight to various strip clubs around the world.

Hamilton's still had a better season than anyone could have expected, and given McClaren can keep the car up to scratch, he'll probably be the favourite for it next season.
