Thought I'd start a thread about what we're planning, if we book any big names or any changes with the gigs etc and any gossip I know about.

From now on, we're booking the best opening supprt acts we can get for the money. We've got quite a few alreadywilling to do it for the money. Dave, Jason and myself are picking them with so hopefully we won't have any slow painful deaths at the top.

I've confirmed that Charlie Chuck is coming to headline a 'special' on Sunday 12th Feb. Bit dearer than normal gig but looking at 6 a ticket to cover his fee and we'll prob have another headline to open the show. We're doing tickets for this one as (obviously) we expect lots of people.

DONKEY

Also looks like we're going to have 'An Audience with...' series of nights. Looking at prolific comedy people who work in the industry. First one hopefully will be Simon Donald, ex editor of Viz.

For anyone interested, Tim Vine is coming to Middlesbrough theatre for his tour in Feb.

Jimmey Carr's new DVD is out with a familair face on it. Our very own Barry Dodds who did the first show at The Dickens is on, in the extra's bit. He'll be available to sign copies at the next gig  ;)

I can't keep it in any longer. Got my (new) favourite act to come do Catch22 in June. He'll be doing a full hour show, Howard Read. Again, something totally different. Check out his excellent website and find out all about Little Howard by watching the clips. http://www.howardread.com/

I've gone all out on headline acts, coming to Catch22 or the Dickens are Alfie Joey, Roger Monkhouse, Glen Wool (hopefully when we sort a date), Jim Jeffries, Martin Bigpig, Robin Ince, Paul Sinha and Andy White.

Still in talks but looks like the awesome Alun Cochrane will come up (it took some persuasion).

Hopefully some comics will come on and back me up when I say all these acts are seriously excellent.

I reckon it would be worthy of winning some kind of BBC web animation award.

Oh, hang on...

Just booked the Viz Roadshow. Full 2 hour show (with break) from Simon Donald and Alex Collier. Find out how many people have tried to sue them/kill them/touch them inappropiately.

It will be roughly like this show. I'll have more details after I've spoke to Simon and Alex. 6 in and I'm sure if you bring your Viz album along you'll get it signed.

March 26th at The Dickens.

I for one have tried to touch them in a way that has caused embarassment.
