The Linthorpe - How strong are the pints?

How strong (% wise) is the lager from there?


I've just come back from there and feel much more pissed than I would usually feel from 3/4 pints. Thus, I conclude that the pints are much stronger than usual lager (not to mention tasting nicer)

I guess it depends what lager you drank, duder.

Stella Artois is obviously stronger than, say, Heineken.

They only serve Augenbraue (its slelled something similar to that anyhow). I'm asking how strong that particular lager is.

Ayingerbrau Lager is 4.9% I believe..

As a sidenote : I was sacked from the Linthorpe in '96... :mikeisahomo

they sell that in the anchor in guisborough, im sure the bar guy told us that each batch they get in is a different %, its just brewed to taste. or summat like that. fucking good larger though!

Obvious how exactly? Stella 5.2, Heineken 5%... Stella is the stronger but Heineken to me tastes alot stronger... funny 2 brands to compare.

yup but if you got the ayingerbrau Pils lager that's 5.9% i think and it's like loopy juice!

i drink in the green dragon in stockton not the linthorpe but it's the same brewery

it says 4.9% on the pumps, but some weeks its as strong as 9%. The correct term for this drink is Naughty Water and it is not to be consumed unless you are happy losing control of your bodily functions

Yeah they sell this in the Brunton Arms in Marton. Great if you want a cheap local night out too .. They also sell their "strong" version of Ayingerbrau, Prinz.

Ayingerbrau is evil, I'm sticking to well known shit in the future.

It tastes nicer at the time but it gives me a shocking hangover.
