Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac-Man affected us as kids,we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music.

Cranberries - Zombie (upbeat mix)

Aka the ruined version of the song. I'd be happy if you played the original. And threw in some Tool aswell, then i will come and personally thank you, and might shake hands aswell!

Saves people going huh? i suppose as weam gave no details at all of what kind of music the warm out guy would be playing (clever) its a good move

Least this way people know what to expect and if they like it will head down early

Okay, I just wondered if you'd consider swapping Rammstein - Zwitter for Amerika, I've been singing it because my friend has the CD in his car.  Also, if you have some Spunge (maybe Jump on Demand), that would be top shit.

Cheers :mikeisahomo

you're playing killing in the name of/enter sandman etc too early, and madness goes next door. You're a warm up DJ, use it as an opportunity to get some requests and less played tracks in (eg, a different RATM song, a different metallica song) rather than trying to play floorfillers when there won't be enough people in to actually fill the floor!

Loads of those are just going to get requested when it fills up and end up being played twice, a waste of a valuble 3 minute slot. Get with the programme sister darkshadow!

Phils sets are a shining example, he gets asked for specifically because he is aware that plenty of that Korn etc will get played later, so he plays stuff for people who want something a bit less predicatble. Leaf, book, etc.

So what was that secret?
What did that prick whisper to you?
Was it playful and flirty
Or degrading and dirty?
I know you like it both ways
So -- what did he say?
To make you so goddamn defiant
So fucking triumphant

:themoreyouknow And anyone who saw me out last night knows this to be a true fact! I have the stern glasses and everything.

Only for rock DJs who don't have to do any mixing and clever stuff though. Hah.
