Yes! They were awesome. As is the usual for the Ku.Bar it seems......judging by the two shows thus far. I mean I'm not just saying this because I did a shakey appearence their myself, but  because I love comedy, and was thrilled
to see there was something to satisfy my comedy hungry so close to home!

I'm glad theres a venue, and people willing to bring comedy to Middlesbrough/Stockton, I tried to find some before but all the nights were either few and far between, or been and gone. So I would defently recommend going to check this place out for yourselves.  I promise you won't regret it, I mean Coote liked it, and he's a pretenious Prick  :mikeisahomo ....so that says it all.

I thought that the 2nd one was the funniest "Jonny's Diary" or whatever it was...followed closely by the last act coz they had the most stage presance.
Then i thought the German techno guys coz they were a bit different (although some really good mates do something very similar)
I thought that Carl could have been better, he just needs to work on his act a bit.
The first guy was okay, but again needs to work on his set.

The MC was klass and i thought that he really helped the flow of the night and interacted with the crowd well.

Will be going more although after september i'm in london so may be hard  ::)

PS. All my mates thought that the German techno was the best

(although some really good mates do something very similar)
you are such a suck up.
i liked them all really, but theyy were all such different sets that you cant really compare.Die Clattershenkenfietermaus made me laugh the most(german techno :fashr0x0rs and Matthew Reed and Faron had a brilliant balance between music and comedy("ive got parkinsons"   :laugh :laugh).carl was funny coz obviously i find him funny,Ben Trayner (as alter ego steven challis-not at all copy and pasted ::))was different to most stuff you see,and i like character comedy, and he reminded me of a slightly retarded jimmy carr, and the first guy(sorry i dont know his name)seemed a bit nervous, but did really well.the compere was good, had a similar style to one a mate who i find highly amusing.

really good night like, but i can only make it to one more.get Die Clattershenkenfietermaus  back :mikeisahomo.or get me details of where to get a cd!!

I personally thought the headline act were the best. I wanna see them again because I thought they were excellent.  Die Clattershenkenfetermaus (or however you spell it) wer awesome, funny as fuck.  You can't really compare them to Luke at all Cootey, they are a lot more polished, although I think Luke is very very good.

Carl did well for his first act, but i've told him already what I thought of his act.  If he sticks at it then he'll become good... but it's whether he'll stick at it after Uni and all.

the second guy was very good, but it went a little too long I think.  He got a little lost near the end I thought, thanx to those drunk idiots.  Umm, the first guys set didn't go to well, but he managed to do a good job saving everything.  The compare was excellent, i'm a big fan of that guy, he's been excellent over those two shows.

Thanks a lot to the guy running the show for doing an excellent job, and i'll definatly be coming along to future shows.  It's the one thing i'm happy to be on the haxed mailing list for, lol, that I found out about this since i've been looking for stand-up comedy shows in Boro for ages.

And emily, when I noticed where the reviewer was, I looked over during carls act to see how she reacted, and she was laughing at his act, I know that much.

Yeah, it's on the 2nd. 5 comics on including the simply gorgeous, Jonathon Mayor.
Think Graham Norton, x10, sprinkle liberally with glitter and you'll get somewhere close to him.

Headline is Danny Deegan, an Andy 'Shotgun' Sugden look-a-like. He stormed a boro gig I ran ealier in the year.
Should be good.
