Got it in June, with no insurence. They said it was the contacts were knackered on the side probably from condensation getting in, which is most likely from been in clubs most nights a week with my phone laid out I guess.

When I first got it it were dead anyway - but didn't get round to sorting it out. If I had done I probably wouldn't be in this trouble!

My Sony Ericsshit has been a joke since I bought it, but its recently got alot worse to the point where its impossible to live with. Took it in today and got told that it wont be covered so in desperate need for a phone.

I'll have one to get me by but its only a lend, so looking to replace as soon as possible. Got about 130 to spend, needs to be able to work with T-Mobile and apart from that I don't need much else. Phones basically used for calls and texts, no internet, not even camera or anything really.

I like my phones to be quite slim, easy to use and reliable. Reliable is very important after my last two phones, and although they were both Sony Ericssons i'd give them another chance.

If anyones got anything for sale, or even can recommend a phone give us a shout.

maybe you need to download the newest version of wmp? i had that problem on my old laptop using windows xp

WMP11 comes with Vista apparently

sounds like a common problem on google, have a look at a few threads on there and try some of the stuff suggested

All the ones i've seen say do the same thing with clearing caches and enabling options that are already enabled on here. It really has me beat. I only wanna watch 8 out of 10 cats and ponderland!

4od doesn't use a browser though, its a stand alone program that uses Windows Media Player

Completely uninstalled norton and still doing it.

It gets to 'downloading media rights' then just closes, turned off all windows protection while trying it too.

Tried a couple of different shows on 4od and happens with them all, it'll play the adverts at the begining then close the window when the programs about to start. The 4od website says its something to do with ad block, but I don't have an ad blocker and although i'm running Norton Internet Security 2007, I can't find any options/sign that theres an ad blocker included.

BBC iPlayer and the ITV website all work fine, just 4od that i'm having the problems with.

Anyone have ideas?

What next?  Complaints about EVERYTHING Frankie Boyle says?!

(IE: "Things you wouldn't hear during the Queen's speech" - Frankie Boyle: "I am now so old my vagina is haunted" hahahahha)

Exact quote already brought up on the news a couple of days ago.

I mean for fucks sake, get pissed off easy? Shuffle off and watch them boring cunts on Fifth Gear, or don't listen to Russel Brand. Not like it was a one off out of character remark

Might be a better president than Bush, but as funny as Bush? I don't think so.

Poor Rory Bremner and his limited career, he'll be signing on in no time

Ricky Gervais was bloody fantastic in it!

I hope so! Wanna see it but he puts me off. When hes good hes very good, whens hes not hes shit. The fact they showed the same clip on every promo kinda put me off.

I like Stevie G me like! Actually want Liverpool to win the league this year, I've always had a soft spot for Man Utd but will make a change.

Its gotta be Joey Barton, Ashley Cole or Racist Atkinson.

Games, Computers and Tech Issues / Only new e mails in outlook express?
« on: October 29, 2008, 11:04:15 pm »
Got me new laptop, shot outlook express on it and set everything up. Only thing is, is its bringing up every e mail since the begining of 2005. Os their anyway to set it up to just work on new e mails from now on? Or will I have to bring through the lot?

I've stopped using royal mail whenever possible, currently been waiting a week for a book(well, was dispatched last Tuesday. Posts still not come today so it could arrive...) and also alot of stuff for me new place was sent via Royal Mail, none of which has shown up yet and i'm supposed to move in tomorrow. The one thing that was ordered pretty much last, and not sent by Royal Mail has already turned up. Absolute joke. Wish all sites gave an option to pay a little more for other delivery options. As i'd choose the others everytime.

Put some toothpaste on a soft cotton cloth (i use boxers) and gently rub the toothpaste in a up down motion over the scratch. If you don't really get me, or don't believe it then google it. It really works!

Does this work on any CD? Could be quite handy that!
