Ha this is what happens when you stop buying Mixmag and don't go out clubbing anymore, the only exposure I get to new music is office radio and film soundtracks haha

I like that fireflies song, reminds me of The Postal Service.

That's exactly whyi like it, you don't have to be gushing from the gash with blood to like it ha

I'll have a word with the bank of mam and dad and see if they can sub me the cash and let you know in the next day or so, cheers!

This thread has massively depressed me, it's made me realise how out the loop I am with new music. Saying that, has this year been any good for music?

I was just about to say the best night out was High Contrast and Benga at Digital in Newcastle then I realised that was the end of 2009!

The best single I've heard this year is probably Fireflies by Owl City or Kiss with a Fist by Florence + The Machine, I think that in itself shows it has been a bad year for music.

Unlike a normal year where most of it's done on Christmas Eve I'm actually finished now. Now to buy myself Christmas presents.

Snap, I was pretty much sorted by the end of November some how? I've also bought decent presents which thought has actually gone into.

Bought Lizzie 3 Dennis Lehane books, a coffee percolator, umbrella, subscription to Glamour and flights to Copenhagen in January to see our friends alongside some wrap ups.

For the parentals I've bought a cool meal thing that they can use in over 200 top restaurants that entitles them to try the restaurants all of the restaurants signature dishes, like tapas style portions. Got them some wrap ups too.

I'm interested Fash, I just can't afford it until the 24th when I get paid. If you still have it by then I'll have it off your hands

This guy is good at riding his bike. Some of the stuff he does is pretty impressive!

I thought I used to see some fairly mental stuff from BMXers when I was skating but that lad is unreal on a bike, he makes it look effortless!

I disagree, why would they join something they can't read so they don't even know if it's the type of thing they're after? Personally I'm not a fan of boards that force you to join up to read them, just my opinion though!

Could be an idea.

The most interesting thing is that this has been one of the more actives thread of late, so lets go with that.

What do you guys, as site users, want from the site?

A one stop shop where I can be recommended good tunes/bands/nights out/films with posters opinons and a place to have shit banter and see funny stuff.

Oh and there is way too many sub forums that can fuck right off. Yes, I don't like everything under one roof but seriously who needs a sub forum about Good places to eat (surely that's just a thread?) Art forum (if you've done  or seen something cool, post it in general), Buy Sell (just whack a post in and general if you've got summit to flog!).

I've made a shit load of mates through this site and had some wicked nights out so it'd be sad to see it go. Without Haxed I'd probably have never met Ste, Shrike, Ripper, Kelly etc etc and got as battered as I did on a regular basis!

Fresh young meat on the board would be brilliant but as said nobody really plans nights out on here now Facebook has become the tool of choice, you need a new way of pulling them in. The big thing this site has going for it, is that it's a one stop shop for gig and night listings which comes in pretty handy! Maybe buddy up with student nights as well as existing nights and offer stuff like names for guestlists and free queue jumps like I always used to see a lot of.

As posters we also have a responsibility to freshen the place up. I'm pretty rubbish as when I see a funny link these days I post it on Facebook and never on here, we should be posted fresh content, whether it's funny, prickish, insulting or just useful/less information.

Good Eats / Re: Dominos Pizza - Middlesbrough
« on: October 27, 2010, 11:03:18 am »
I think Dominos make some of the pizza takeaway pizza known to my stomach, and apparently they're finally reopening in Middlesbrough.

On Linthorpe Road no less, within staggering distance of the Crown.

Any idea when this is happening?
