TKASG & Cosmos Christmas party and our last show of 2011 sees us welcome back Forest Fire. These guys put on an astounding show last year and people left the venue with shit-eating grins after a classic Westgarth night. Make no mistake they absolutely smashed it. Great banter and great audience participation including the band mascot being taken hostage by the crowd ;D Well, they're back for more and this time we've roped in ace emerging Glasgow band, The Imagineers as special guests. You'll be seeing a lot more of them next year.

Also on the bill are TKASG faves, the ever-reliable Winter Hill Transmission (Newcastle's mellow answer to British Sea Power) plus one other opening act tbc.

This is a fantastic way to finish a great year. We really hope you can join us.

"Other Lives could well be set to be this year's Fleet Foxes: an indie-folk act  from across the Atlantic whose sublime sounds are tailor-made for mainstream  audiences. Hailing from Oklahoma, the five-piece's music has already decorated  several stateside television shows, ranging from Ugly Betty to Grey's Anatomy.  Darlings of the music press before their new collection has landed, expect Other  Lives to fill the weirdie-beardie-shaped hole in your collection in the second  half of 2011".

This is next up and it's going to be amazing. Full band show from Roddy and the gang. He was fantastic earlier this year in Newcastle.

Rachel Sermanni is main support for this. Opening the show for what will be their one hundredth show will be The Woven Project.

Here's the stage times for the show at the Westgarth this Friday.

Many of our regulars will be familiar with the excellent Lake Poets who's on stage really early. My reason for putting the times up is to make sure though that anyone who's coming is aware of the early start.

Cave Painting are going to be BIG news. Trust me on this one so make sure you don't miss them.

TKASG are back with a bang and I can't wait for this weekend. Really looking forward to seeing everyone

If you've never been to one of our shows then come on down. You'll love it!
