Holy shit.

Putting on a gig in Newcastle, hopefully TKASG and Cosmos fans fancy it!

RM HUBBERT (Chemikal Underground Records) + Support

After his fantastic show supporting the Scottish giant of being honest, AIDAN MOFFAT & BILL WELLS (Chemikal Records, Arab Strap, L. Pierre etc.) around the United Kingdom and in Newcastle, RM Hubbert is back in Newcastle to make every either very happy, or in floods of tears.

Before his solo endeavour, Hubbert was in cult class lads El Hombre Tradjeado, supporting a massive name of bands such as Sebadoh, Nick Cave, Deerhoof and Mike Watt.

If that's not good enough for you, he's now got a great dog and he's taken himself out to play beautiful acoustic vibes, akin to Fahey, Rose and Basho, supporting even more names such as Godspeed you! Black Emperor, King Creosote and Alasdair Roberts.

Touring to promote his second album, Thirteen, Lost and Found, this will be a one-off event.

Playing the intimate Butterfly Cabinet in Newcastle, This is an acoustical endeavour not to miss.

"The hugely-‐talented RM Hubbert was a show-‐stealer.It was impossible not to be impressed by the highly technical classical/flamenco style of guitar."
Daily Record

"Technically dazzling and deeply moving, 'First & Last' is a work of depth, skill and real beauty."
Uncut - 4/5

Special support comes from:

Ex-Idiot Savant and others create naval beauty whilst refusing to use a drum seat. As seen playing with the likes of Hyde & Beast (Futureheads) and they're all proper handsome lads.

Newcastle troubadour who is indeed, another handsome lad. Fantastic structure to some unbelievable gems with a plethora of appearances with people like Jazzfinger (woof!). You need to see this guy before he explodes.

Tickets available at

RPM Records - Newcastle

Reflex Records, Newcastle

& Online:

£7+BF + a bit more if you pay on the door.

Looks like they've been spending too much time with the cunts in Creeps on a Thursday night.

Anchor and Lifeless. S'alright that!

Good stuff, I won't miss W.H.

His album/EP on Fence records was in my top 10 of '09 like.
