SEE OFF THE SUMMER IN STYLE AT BINGLEY MUSIC LIVE

TICKETS ON SALE NOW

In a usually quiet corner of West Yorkshire, the leafy Myrtle Park in Bingley (a ten minute train ride from Leeds Station, just outside Bradford) bursts into life over the first weekend of September as music fans from around the county and beyond come together to see off another festival season.

We dare you to find a festival which focuses as much on family-friendliness and value for money as it does on the great acts to grace its stage. Bingley Music Live is not about being cutting-edge and cool (though we definitely have our collective fingers on the pulse). Itís about getting together and having a great time before the summer calls it quits once again.

Weekend tickets are available from HMV stores around Yorkshire, Crash and Jumbo in Leeds, Attic in York, Sound it Out in Stockton, Leeds Visitor Centre and TICs around Yorkshire, and online at www.seetickets.com, priced £35 (plus booking fee).  For more information, visit www.bingleymusiclive.com. Like the festival at www.facebook.com/bingleymusiclive, or follow us at www.twitter.com/BingleyFestival

Really don't want to sell this, but in serious need of cash right now! I'm after £300 for it.

This is a very reliable piece of equipment, i've used it to play synths off Reason and it has always done a good job.

Stuff it does:

1)It's got a built in soundcard, so basically you won't get any noticeable latency, its got two jack/mic inputs so you could use this as an interface to record stuff on your computer (again no real latency).

2)It's a synth. It does lots of synthy stuff, you can play this without a computer, the synth on it is actually pretty decent, with lots of controllable knobs and sliders. It's got a kaoss type thing next to the pitch control, you can mess around with sounds with that which is pretty cool.

3)It's a really reliable controller - like i said, i used it to control reason, but you can control anything with it, it just connects via USB and away you go, there's a load of presets on the machine that mean the faders/knobs on the synth can control the sounds coming out of a computer/another synth.

Novation-class Synthesizer
Monotimbral, 8-voice, 3-oscillator (with 17 waveforms), 2 LFO (with 32 waveforms) virtual analogue synthesizer with 200 massive onboard sounds and a huge array of hardware controls for editing parameters

High Quality Novation Keyboard
Superb semi-weighted, high-quality keyboard with velocity- and aftertouch- sensitivity

2-D Controls

Complete Portability
Various options such as USB- or battery- power, in addition to PSU, allow maximum portability. Batteries can even recharge via USB!

bit like pandora, think uses the previews from 7 digital so you don't get a full song, but its alright for killing some time/finding someone new.

I'm terrible at computer games, but I'd love to get beaten 9-0 on xbox live by someone I have a vague relation to instead of being hammered by random 13 year old boys.

my xbox name is Katesbush.

anyone else play?

copypaste from group

For the past sixteen years the "On The Beat" column in the Middlesbrough Evening Gazette has been an essential read for anyone who performs or watches live music on Teesside. It`s writer, Robert Nichols has promoted, helped and advised countless local bands over this period, and provided mainstream media exposure for young musicians who would otherwise go unheard.

Now, the Gazette has decided to end "On the Beat" as part of a round of cost cutting measures...
